Our customers and partners have shared with us that there is some confusion surrounding our Gold and Platinum offerings. As a result of this feedback, the first changes we will be making to the GSS Support portfolio, will be to change the names of the Gold and Platinum offerings, to Basic Support and Production Support, respectively. There will be no changes to program features or pricing associated with these name changes.
We are also in the process of improving and expanding support options and offerings. We can’t divulge too much, yet. Stay tuned for additional information about VMware Support products in the coming months, and we hope to see you at Partner Exchange where we will be unveiling all of the changes and will provide you with updated selling materials and training.
